"The use of recycled plastic in the packaging of edible oils - says Alfonsina Migliozzi, coordinator of the project - is a novelty in Europe. Our products will be launched with the colors green, white and red, representing the Made in Italy that is growing and innovating. The challenge that we intend to face, in fact, is to extend the scope of the recycled plastic materials, opening up interesting opportunities for development. Encouraging also the recycling of PET bottles for food we are turning waste into an exploitable resource. We believe that today a competitive enterprise is one that invests mainly in innovation".

The use of recycled PET rather than virgin PET, for the production of packaging for goods of mass consumption, leads to a reduction of CO2 emissions, given by the lower use of non-renewable oil resources.

The good processability of the polymer has also enabled high quality production without compromising the speed of the process compared to virgin PET bottles.

This innovation, therefore, not only decreases the environmental impact but will also guarantee the the consumer with the highest safety.
